Jefferson Keever joined HOST in 2016 to focus on business development and special projects. He now works as HOST’s Government Affairs Representative, most recently as part of HOST’s Avondale Marine facility in New Orleans, LA. Prior to joining Host full-time, he served the company in a consulting capacity for many years. Jefferson has over 35 years of experience in the maritime industry, including a role at the Virginia Port Authority, where he was the Senior Deputy Executive Director, responsible for government relations, port security, environmental matters, and business development. Jefferson was formerly on the Board of the Greater New Orleans, Inc. and is currently a member of the GNO Wind Alliance. He also serves as a member of the Jefferson Business Council, the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, and the Westbank Business & Industry Association. He holds a bachelor’s in political science from University of Richmond.
