Mike Olsen has over 20 years’ experience working on offshore energy issues. He is currently Vice President, Strategy & Partnerships at Aker Solutions, a global provider of products, systems, and services to the energy industry. Before joining Aker Solutions, Mike held various positions in offshore wind, including Vice President, Policy & Government Affairs at Mainstream Renewable Power, Senior Director, Business Development at Equinor, and Senior Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Bracewell LLP. Prior to that, Mike served for almost six years in the George W. Bush Administration at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he oversaw a wide range of energy and environmental issues, including the development of offshore wind. Before joining the Interior Department, Mike was Director of the Office of Native American and Insular Affairs for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Resources.
