Kris is a Senior Business Opportunity Manager with a decade-long tenure at Shell, specializing in the offshore wind industry. As part of the New Business Development team, his responsibilities include strategizing and executing new deals for offshore wind projects. Kris currently focuses on development in the Gulf of Mexico. His previous experiences include working on projects like the New York Bight, Carolina, and new-frontier projects across the Americas. Kris also partnered with Gulf Wind Technologies to form the Shell Gulf Wind Technology Accelerator, which aims to accelerate offshore wind technology globally and for use in the GOM.

Before deep diving into renewable energy, Kris managed various Shell onshore oil and gas projects across North and South America. He also holds leadership positions on various tech start-up' boards, contributing to improving energy delivery efficiency.

Kris has an MBA from the Wharton Business School, a Master's in Well Design Engineering from Robert Gordon University, and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
